Embedded Journey

Offer Wayflyer financing directly within your platform. The Embedded Journey lets your users begin their application without leaving your app, before being handed over to Wayflyer to finalise.

What is the Embedded Journey?

The Embedded Journey (v5) is Wayflyer's latest integration approach. Instead of immediately redirecting users to Wayflyer's hosted application, the initial application steps take place inside a panel embedded directly in your platform. Once complete, users are handed over to Wayflyer to finalise their application (e.g. connecting bank accounts, reviewing offers, and signing contracts).

This means:

  • Fewer redirects — users complete the initial application steps on your platform before being handed over to Wayflyer.
  • Better conversion — keeping users on your platform for longer reduces drop-off.
  • Prefilled data — partners can prefill application fields with data they already have about their customers, reducing friction.
  • Progress saving — users can close the panel and resume their application later from where they left off.

How it works

The Embedded Journey follows a guided, step-by-step flow within your platform:

  1. Call-to-Action — A banner is displayed to eligible users, showing an indicative offer or an invitation to apply for financing.
  2. Application panel opens — When the user clicks the CTA, an embedded panel slides open within your platform.
  3. User completes the journey — The user progresses through a series of screens: contact details, country of incorporation, monthly revenue, business details, and business model.
  4. Handover to Wayflyer — Once the embedded portion is complete, the user is redirected to Wayflyer to finalise their application (bank connections, offer selection, KYC, and contract signing).

Integration options

Wayflyer provides two SDK packages for integrating the Embedded Journey:

The UI SDK (@wf-financing/ui-sdk) renders the full embedded experience — the CTA banner and the journey panel — directly into your app with a single method call. It handles all UI, theming, and user interactions.

Best for partners who want the fastest integration with the lowest maintenance burden.
